Health Savings Account (HSA)
How The HSA Works

With an HSA, Otsuka helps you save tax-free for current and future healthcare expenses. Use your HSA money to pay for qualified medical, prescription, dental, vision, and hearing expenses (like deductibles, copays, and coinsurance). The money in your HSA is always yours—even if you switch medical plans, leave Otsuka, or retire.

Your Health Savings Account (HSA) includes contributions from Otsuka if you enroll in the Consumer Select PPO or Consumer Value PPO plan, along with any additional contributions you choose to make. Regardless of whether you choose to make your own contributions, you will still receive Otsuka’s contribution to your HSA.

Otsuka's HSA Contributions

Otsuka contributes to your HSA; you may contribute, too, up to the annual IRS limit. Otsuka will contribute $1,000 for employee-only coverage and $2,000 for family coverage for Consumer Select Plan and $500 for employee-only coverage and $1,000 for family coverage for the Consumer Value Plan.
Otsuka's contribution will be deposited semi-annually, in January and July.
